FAQ Summary:
Assembly Hints and tips for the Shark Converter board can be found here.

FAQ Content:
The large square inductor may cover partially one of the holes. Contacting the square inductor with a wire is not an issue and shouldn't present any problems during construction and usage.

To drive muliple LEDs Jumper across J1. This will put the overvoltage protection to 22V and allow for Constant current control using the trim pot.

You should be able to wire the board up and apply 3V to the board with no load and measure the output and verify it's around 22V. Once you do this you can hook up the series string of LEDs and hook it up to the appropriate battery pack or power supply set to the full charge status of the battery pack.

The LEDs should light up and Adjusting the trim pot should vary the brightness from dim to full brightness. Adjust the trim pot for the desired brightness. Install the converter board, LED.

If you want to vary the brightness in your product, you will need to use an external pot in place of the on board trim pot.
