You will be responsible for the modification and installation of the converter board when you get it. You understand the DC/DC converter requirements, input voltage, current and output load current. Applying more voltage on the input than the output will likely damage the converter board. Applying power without a load will kill the converter board instantly. Your converter board comes untested. It is highly recommended to hookup the converter board and pre-test it in a open access configuration before installing the converter board. It's still possible after all this, that the converter board might not be functional since it was not pre-tested here before shipping.
